The Davagh Forest dog walk is hidden gem.  Davagh Forest lies approximately 6 miles North West of Cookstown in what is an untouched rural landscape. Mid-Ulster District Council has recently launched walking and mountain biking trails through the Forest. This is in an attempt to unlock Davagh’s unique potential as a recreational hub.

Travelling from Draperstown head on the B47 and go through the village of Straw. Turning left on the Sixtowns Road. Bear left on the Davagh Road signed “East Sperrins Scenic Route” and after 3 miles the trailhead will be on your left hand side.
