This Wonderful woodland walk is situated in the Drumnaph Community Nature Reserve. There are a mix of habitats and three walking trails to choose from. The Woodland Trust owns in the region 80 acres of Drumnaph Wood, which is located to the eastern side of the reserve which is made up of ancient woodland and newly planted trees. There is also some fabulous wetland habitats.
For the Western car park, take the Tirkane Road heading North West from Maghera town centre. Follow this for about a mile and half and then turn right onto the Halfgayne Road. The car park is half a mile along this road on the right hand side.

The Drumnaph Community Nature Rerserve is made up of newly planted trees and ancient woodland.
For this walk park at Western Carpark but the beauty of this area is that you can pick from plenty of signed walks around the woods.
