I have had animals all my life and grew up in a family where we all shared the responsibilities of animal ownership. I have also worked in animal shelters here and abroad, caring for abandoned animals, which was very rewarding and very educational.​

I started Muddy Paws Cornwall in 2012 offering Dog Walking and Pet sitting and then decided to train as an animal behaviourist, to ensure that I could provide the animals trusted to me the best care possible. Over the years the business has grown to include some wonderful people. The Muddy Paws team are a caring and dedicated bunch who love animals, and enjoy working with them as much as I do.

Having worked with dogs since 2012 we had a few losses in the Muddy Paws family, so in 2020 I qualified as a Pet Bereavement counsellor to help our clients come to terms with their loss.

In 2023 I qualified as a Canine Nutritionist, so can now give dietary advice. Including weight loss plans and healthy eating plans for puppies and elderly dogs.

​Myself and my team have many years' experience in pet ownership and take the welfare of the animals we care for very seriously. We are all fully insured, First Aid certified and have various levels of behavioural training. All our Pet sitters are licensed and all paperwork & procedures follow local government guidelines.

Dog Walking
We do walk dogs in packs but of no more than 6 dogs at a time. I have found that they love to interact and play with each other and it can provide them with good socialisation skills. We walk on beaches or country walks, for a minimum of 1 hr unless otherwise arranged. All poop is collected in recycled bags, and disposed of responsibly. We only charge for the walking time and none of our travelling costs. We are huge animal lovers and have been around animals all our lives so your best friend is in very good hands. We are also fully insured & First Aid credited. Unless pre-agreed with you, we will never book a walk without meeting you and your dog first. There are no registration fees or charges for the pre visit.

Pet Sitting
Going away? Then why not book your best friend on their own holiday. Muddy Paws is the perfect place for your best friend to stay. They stay in our homes as part of the family, not in kennels.

Prefer someone to house sit for you? Extra security, and your pet gets to stay in their own home. We offer a house sitting service where we will look after your pet and home.
