There are lots of stunning doggy walks around St Ives and dog friendly attractions in Cornwall. Dogs are allowed on all of the beaches between 1st October and 1st May. Lambeth Walk beach (in-between the harbour and Porthminster beach) and Bamaluz (between the harbour and Pothgwidden beach) are dog friendly all year round.

Stones Reef (sleeps 6)
This cool and characterful house is situated just 15 minutes on foot down to the heart of St Ives and benefits from having its own enclosed garden and terrace in which you can retreat to after a hard day on Porthmeor beach! Add to that the two driveway parking spaces and cosy open fire and you have the perfect all year round holiday home from home.

The garden at Stones Reef is enclosed so perfectly suitable for children and dogs alike. A large bbq is provided and can be enjoyed on the terrace with the dining room bi-fold doors fully open to truly make the most of the inside/outside space.

Some stunning coastal and inland walks are easily accessible as Stones Reef is located just a few minutes walk away from the SouthWest coast path. Why not enjoy the amazing coastal scenery on a long walk with your doggy to Zennor, with a pasty and pint waiting for you at the other end in the Tinners Arms!

Figgy Cottage (sleeps 2)
Figgy Cottage ticks all the boxes for a couple wishing to stay in St Ives… cosy cottage, car parking space, private inclosed garden and great location close to the town centre, harbour and beaches. The Grade II listed granite cottage has one bedroom and is the perfect retreat for a couple. If you have a doggy then they are welcome too with dogs allowed on St Ives beaches from October through to the Sunday before Easter.

The cottage is accessed through a gate into a private courtyard with plenty of plants and table/seating perfect for dining al-fresco. Continue up the steps to the enclosed lawned garden with more outdoor furniture and sea views, safe in the knowledge that your four-legged friend will be contained but with room to roam.

Trenoweth Lodge (sleeps 8)
Trenoweth Lodge has been re-furbished to provide luxurious spacious accommodation for eight people in a perfect quiet location just a few minutes walk to Carbis Bay beach. From the house you can walk down the footpath through the peaceful valley to Carbis Bay beach with its family-friendly golden sands and facilities including beach club restaurant and terrace over-looking the beach and St Ives Bay.

Walking to St Ives is a pleasure; some of the views along the South West coastal path from Carbis Bay to St Ives will take your breath away along the fifteen minute walk to Porthminster beach. If the hill coming back doesn’t appeal then simply hop on the branch-line train back to Carbis Bay to experience one of the country’s most scenic railway journeys.

Up to two dogs are welcome at Trenoweth Lodge so those seeking coastal walks and long winter strolls on empty beaches will be perfectly at home here. Your doggy is allowed on Carbis Bay beach from October through to the Sunday before Easter, and early mornings only during the summer months.

The property’s driveway offers parking for two cars, whilst the private garden offers a peaceful retreat with several terraces, large table and bbq for dining al-fresco. The higher terrace offers a tranquil space with sea views over St Ives Bay to Godrevy lighthouse and beyond.

Seawater (sleeps 6)
Welcome to Seawater, a contemporary self catering cottage situated with a few minutes’ walk of all that St Ives has to offer. It sleeps six people in three bedrooms and comes with its own allocated parking space just a short walk away. If you have a doggy then they are welcome too with complimentary dog treats on arrival!

The cottage has undergone extensive renovations and boasts some impressive stylish touches whilst retaining many of the original features. It has its own enclosed courtyard garden to the rear that has a Mediterranean feel with decking, seating and outdoor lighting.

The Loft (sleeps 4)
The Loft is a beautiful ‘upside-down’ two-bedroom cottage located just off The Digey, right in the heart of the old fishing quarter of St Ives better known as ‘Downalong’.  The cottage can be found by entering Hicks Court through the lovely old granite arch that has stood, like the cottages around it, for a many a year.

Refurbished to a high standard, The Loft sleeps four in two bedrooms with a shower room on the ground floor.

Ocean Scene was a stunning property before, but since being redesigned and refurbished it is now a truly exceptional property!
