Come “glamping” in Cornwall at Ekopod, where you can relax in our luxurious pods, nestled in a beautiful rural landscape. Our tranquil glamping site is the perfect escape. Whether you chose our geodomes or boutique tents, each pod has been individually designed with a king size bed, crisp white sheets and a cosy wood burning stove. They are each set in their own private space and have wonderful views.

However Ekopod is about more than simply being comfy under canvas. It’s about living with nature in a way that treads lightly upon the planet.

At Ekopod we don’t use any electricity in the pods, which as well as benefiting the environment gives a feeling of child-like fun to everything you do. And that’s what you get from a holiday with us – a sense of returning to the simpler things in life (but in comfort).

Located in Bodmin Moor, in an area known locally as “The Peaceful Valley”, just 20 minutes distance from dramatic coastline and beautiful beaches, Ekopod is an excellent base camp for exploring Cornwall.

Glamping Pods
Our glamping pods let you get close to the wilderness of North Cornwall in style and comfort.  Snuggle up under a goose down duvet in a super king size bed with crisp white linen in front of a wood burning stove.  Watch the milky way through the panoramic windows.

Cook delicious dinners in the fully equipped kitchen or BBQ in the sun on the private terrace. Cuddle up on the comfy sofas, or enjoy a glass of red from your hammock seat as you gaze at a starry sky.  Explore the local moors, beaches and harbours or wander around our 5 acre glamping site of wildflower meadow and woodland.

We have three different types of geodome large (6m diameter), small (5m diameter) and small with shared facilities (kitchen and shower in the main barn shared with one other unit).  Whichever you chose, each one of our glamping geodomes; Nessa, Eyl, Peswara and Tressa, is set in its own space of roughly quarter of an acre, providing you with your own private bubble of tranquillity.

The glamping pods have many facilities, each has a private well equipped kitchen with gas hob and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a ‘proper’ toilet and a bathtub with views! Fluffy white bath towels and toiletries from the local St Kitts Herbery are provided as standard.

They are housed in their own decked area with private BBQ and seating allowing you to cook al fresco while enjoying the stunning views over Cornish farmland and Bodmin Moor. Complimentary tea, fresh coffee, hot chocolate, real milk, locally produced Davidstow cheddar, chutney and crackers will be there for your arrival. Extra snacks can be purchased from our honesty shops on site.

All the pods are set up for two but Nessa and Eyl each have a sofa that can be split into two single beds allowing up to four guests to stay.

Boutique Tents
Looking for a glamping holiday in the UK?  Our boutique tents are the perfect answer for you.  On our site in Cornwall we have  a glamping pod that sleeps 2, a bell tent that sleeps up to 4, and a safari tent that sleeps up to 8.

The bell tent is set up for couples, with a super kings size bed and a wood burner to keep you warm on cooler evenings.  There is a sofa in each of them which can be split into two singles if you are looking to go away as a group of four or for families if you want to bring your children it shares bathroom and kitchen facilities with one other unit.

Brand new for 2018 our Safari tent has two doubles and 2 sets of bunk beds making it perfect for your  family UK glamping break or for large groups!  It has a large terrace with great views, ensuite bathroom and good size kitchen and dinning table for group dinners.

Steren our glamping pod is set up for two, with an ensuite bathroom and attached kitchen so is the perfect romantic getaway! All the tents are set in their own private space, but can be hired together if your looking for an extended group booking!
