River Valley Holiday Park - Dog Friendly Campsite in St Austell, Cornwall

River Valley Holiday Park is a quiet campsite that has been run by our family for 25 years. Find us in one of Cornwall’s most picturesque hidden valleys and see why many of our guests return to us year after year.

Choose from more than 40 modern caravans, pitch a tent or hook up your touring van in one of our 45 spacious pitches. The modern bathrooms and children’s play area are super clean – as we know you expect.

River Valley facilities include a heated swimming pool for you to enjoy during your stay, a zip wire and a library packed with books. We also have a fully accessible bathroom.

Our site has no clubhouse – but there are plenty of other ways to find entertainment locally. We do say that River Valley facilities include some of the great pubs nearby and we’re always happy to direct you to some lovely beach cafes and restaurants.

There are plenty of walks and trails near to River Valley and your family pets are welcome here. Cornwall is a really dog-friendly destination and we’re happy to recommend favourite beaches, pubs and walks for you and your pooch.

Camping
We think camping and creature comforts can go hand-in-hand, so at River Valley we go one step further to offer a few little extras such as ice-packs, books, a laundry room complete with irons and ironing boards, and a heated shower and toilet block decked out with fresh flowers.

At River Valley Holiday Park campers can relax in comfort whatever the weather. Our large, level pitches are well manicured with lawns and hard standing. You’ll never have to pitch up in a mud pit, even following a torrential downpour (although you might want to bring an extra groundsheet and a hammer for your pegs).

When the sun shines there’s plenty of room to sprawl out in the luscious surroundings, and there’s more than enough to do if it rains: take a dip in the indoor pool, hide out in the games room or dash to the nearby pub.

We also welcome family pets to join you on holiday. Please note that they must be kept on a lead at all times and walked away from the park on the adjoining trails or in the neighbouring woods. Don’t worry – we’ll provide you with a rundown of dog-friendly walks, dog-friendly beaches and dog-friendly pubs in the area, so you won’t be stuck for things to do with your four-legged friend.

Touring Pitches
At River Valley Holiday Park we go the extra mile to turn touring in Cornwall into a luxurious holiday. That’s why we include extra thoughtful touches, such as the fresh flowers and piped music you’ll find in our heated shower and toilet block.

Our 45 touring pitches are all spacious, level and beautifully manicured with hard standing, electric hook up and a lawn. As well as a lush, peaceful location and the convenience of electric hook-ups, we go one step further to offer a few creature comforts such as the indoor pool, the provision of ice blocks and a laundry room complete with irons and ironing boards.
