Rosebud Farm Touring Park - Dog Friendly Campsite in Port Isaac, Cornwall
Rosebud Farm is a popular, small, family run quiet site, exclusively for adults aged 18+. Our picturesque campsite is set in a rural location in the heart of Doc Martin and Poldark countryside, with stunning panoramic views that take in the summits of Roughtor and Brown Willy on Bodmin moor; a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. We offer good free Wi-fi, tv, satellite reception and grey water on the pitch and luxury heated shower/toilet block for those colder winter months, as we are open 365 days including Christmas and New Year.
Whilst you’re here, why not explore our golden, sandy beaches, coastal and moorland walks or simply relax in one of our local pubs, all within easy reach of this peaceful retreat.
The quaint village of St Teath is just a 15 minute walk, here you will find the General Store, Butchers, Churchtown Cafe and The White Hart Inn famous for their excellent food.
We are ideally situated to explore stunning North Cornwall, positioned just a short walk to the coastal path. The North Coast is lined with breathtaking villages including beautiful Boscastle, which is only a short distance from Rosebud, widely known for the flood disaster in 2004. Tintagel is famous for its Castle, Legends of King Arthur and the Old Post Office (National Trust). We are fortunate to be close to numerous sandy beaches including Tregardock, Trebarwith Strand, Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath, all renowned for their beauty and good surf.
Visit the harbour at Padstow for a must see fishing village and the spectacular Camel estuary, also home of exquisite food including Rick Stein, all within a 20 minute drive. Nathan Outlaw is another example of fine cuisine, located in Port Isaac, the setting for the series `Doc Martin` and Fishermans Friends, just 10 minutes away. Other nearby places of interest are the Eden Project (approx 45 minutes away), Steam Railway and Lanhydrock National Trust house at Bodmin, and the South Coast Looe, Polperro and Mevagissey about an hours drive.
The site is set within 6-acres of well groomed grass. Our 50 pitches are positioned against the hedgerows with far reaching views across the Allen Valley to Bodmin moor. In the winter months only, we use hardstanding.
We attract tourists who seek a tranquil site and tend to enjoy sightseeing, walking, cycling, or simply visiting the spectacular rugged coastline that North Cornwall has to offer.
Please Note :- Due to our rural location, we may not be suitable for individuals with walking difficulties or whom rely on public transport.
