Dog Friendly Holiday Park in Helston, Cornwall

Mark, Sue and family welcome you to Little Trevothan Camping and Caravan Park located in Coverack on the Lizard Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty and a great spot to spend your next holiday.  The fishing village of Coverack is just under a mile along the lane from Little Trevothan.  The Lizard Peninsula is almost surrounded by the beautiful clear Cornish sea; this rugged coastline has many stunning coves and picturesque villages to explore, and Little Trevothan is within easy reach of the many other attractions Cornwall has to offer.

Little Trevothan is a spacious, clean and well-tended site in a beautiful and secluded setting with no main roads nearby, providing the perfect location for a relaxing holiday.  We offer self-catering static holiday caravans and generously sized camping and touring pitches, all at excellent rates.   Little Trevothan has a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere, and we welcome your well-behaved dogs too.

Touring
Suitable for caravans, motorhomes and campervans, all our pitches on the touring field are spacious and have gravel hard standings. There is plenty of room on the hardstanding for your vehicle and an awning, plus a grass space large enough to set up your outside area, for comfort and relaxation during your stay.

There are additional grass touring pitches on our holiday caravan field which can also accommodate tents for those with a multi-pitch type booking.

All touring pitches have electric hook up (10-amp) included in the price of your booking, and conveniently located water points.  Maximum occupancy is 6 people per pitch.

Camping
Suitable for tents and trailer tents, our camping field offers spacious 11m -12m by 8m, level grass pitches with or without 10-amp electric hook up.

Hiker/cyclist pitches - We also have some smaller pitches for walkers or cyclists who are travelling light without a car, available without electric hook up.

Summer camping – Large pitches are available on the lower half of our playing field in the summer.  All pitches have electric hook-up included.  

For the health and safety of the children there are some restrictions with these 8 pitches:
Dogs are not permitted on the playing field
Cars can only be driven onto the pitch for unloading and loading at the beginning and end of your stay.  Cars are then parked outside of the playing field for the duration of your stay.

Facilities
Level meadows for campers with or without 10 amp electric hook-up.
Touring meadow with mostly level pitches, all with 10 amp electric hook-up available – all with gravel hard-standing and grass surround.
Static holiday caravan meadow, with additional touring and camping facilities on level grass pitches.
Summer Camping (located along 2 sides of the playing field – school summer holiday only (restrictions apply).
Two new toilet and shower blocks with free hot water, hair driers and shaver points, centrally located.
A new amenity block – comprising a shower room for guests with limited mobility/family changing, a laundrette and dishwashing facilities.
Large pitches – approximately 11 x 8 metres.
Chemical waste disposal area.
Large Playing Field.
Games room with pool table, large Freeview television, retro table game machine, table football, books and games – an ideal place to relax, socialise and have fun.
Small camp shop – available fully in High Season and non-perishable items at other times.
Parking next to holiday caravans and pitches (except tents on the playing field).
Emergency telephone - Calor Gas & Camping Gaz sales.
Phone charging available from reception - Freezer for ice blocks (or hire ours).
Barbecues and Fire Bowls available to borrow.

Pets
Little Trevothan Camping & Caravan Park is pet friendly, and we welcome well behaved dogs on all our camping and touring pitches, and some of our holiday caravans are pet-friendly too.

We have a dog exercise area on the park, and a one and a half acre field which is open in dry weather.  We are ideally based for walks further afield, and dogs are allowed on the beach in Coverack at all times of the year.

Cornwall loves dogs, and they are allowed in many cafes, pubs and attractions.  It is best to check before visiting, but locally your dog is welcome at The Paris, The Lifeboat House and Roskillys in Coverack, The White Hart and The Three Tuns in St Keverne, and Fat Apples Cafe in Porthallow.
