Dog Friendly Beach in Hayle, Cornwall
Mexico Towans is part of a beautiful three mile stretch of beach in St Ives Bay, West Cornwall. The beach itself is just off the coast path and has breathtaking views from Godrevy Lighthouse to St Ives.
The nearest car park is at Riviere Towans, where you will find is very reasonably priced.
Dogs must be kept on a lead until you reach the steps down to the beach.
Dogs are allowed on the beach at Riviere Towans out of season, and during the season after 7 pm.
There is a very lovely cafe right on the beach steps at Riviere Towans, The Cove Cafe, who welcome well behaved dogs and their owners for lovely coffee, cakes and ice cream,

“It seems a shame to leave a review on this beach, purely because in my opinion the less people know about the longer it stays so pristine, uninhabited and genuinely idyllic !!!! We have used the towans for years with many of our dogs and can honestly say without hesitation that this is my favourite dog friendly beach in the whole of the UK”
