Crantock Beach

Crantock Beach, positioned between the Pentire and West Pentire headlands, is a magnificent expanse of golden sand. During high tide, the beach merges with the Gannel Estuary, which has experienced a reduction in size since its days as a bustling port. With its ample space and generally calm seas, Crantock Beach is an ideal destination for families. The beach is protected from offshore winds by the presence of sand dunes along a significant portion of its length. Additionally, at the southern end of the beach, towering cliffs provide further shelter, creating a more tranquil environment.
