Outlining My Method for a Happy Well Behaved Dog
"For a dog to be happy and well behaved, your dog needs to be confident in three areas: in you as their leader, in their environment and in how they should be behaving. In this short video, I'm explaining four key principles we need to understand for our dogs to become confident in these three different areas. *** PS: I NEED YOUR HELP *** My goal is to better the lives of #onemilliondogs in my lifetime. It is clearly impossible for me to do this on a one to one basis. I have seen that with around every thousand views on my videos, I get a comment or email thanking me and letting me know the video has helped. So working on that basis, I have to make videos on how to address every problem behaviour and accumulate ONE billion views in order to help 1,000,000 dogs. You can help me reach #onemilliondogs by (1) subscribing to my channel and (2) give this video a thumbs up - so YouTube suggests this video to more dog owners and we can help 1,000,000 dogs all over the world. Thank you so much! *** THANK YOU *** For more information on dog's behaviour and behavioural issues, have a look at the following links: My website: https://www.thedogguardian.com for details of my online courses and one to one help. Follow my journey as I foster a reactive dog called Dante in order to address his aggression issues of barking and lunging at dogs. During our time together I aim to boost Dante's confidence in me as his leader (protector); in his environment (with other dogs); and in how he should be behaving (calm and relaxed). Throughout the series I demonstrate many lessons on how to address anxious and aggressive behaviour including: how to build a reactive dog's confidence, how to exercise and stimulate a reactive dog, how to socialise and train a reactive dog, how to teach an anxious dog to walk to beside you, how to get your dog to come to you when called, and more.
