Ffynnonwen - Dog Friendly Glamping & Camping in Llandysul, Ceredigion

Get away from it all and reconnect with nature on our small, family-friendly campsite. No electric hook-up, no light pollution, no radios – just you, the sound of the birds, the hum of the insects, the wind in the trees and the crackle of your camp fire. 

Our peaceful, wild meadow camping has just 5 pitches at any one time so you’ll never feel crowded.
Set up camp on a spot mowed amongst wild flowers and flowering grasses with plenty of space between you and your neighbour to relax and watch the butterflies…or small tents can hide away in our little woodland clearing…Snooze in a hammock, explore the twisty paths or discover magic in the hidden corners of Ffynnonwen.

Mongolian Yurt
Sleeping under canvas, listening to the trees whispering, gazing at the night sky, toasting marshmallows on the camp fire … but with a comfy bed and a cosy log burner to keep you warm at night. Our traditional Mongolian yurt gives you the best of both worlds! Just think – no bickering as you put up the tent in the rain (yes, we’ve been there!) … and, as everything is provided, there’s no need to try and cram everything but the kitchen sink into the car either. Follow the winding paths through the trees and ferns to discover the yurt nestled in its own private spot, with only the birds (and maybe a few sheep!) for neighbours – secluded, peaceful, magical.

Bell Tents
Our two beautiful 5m Bell Tents are each set in their own private spaces, one in a meadow surrounded by wild flowering grasses, the other in an apple orchard with wild flowers and it's own dog friendly enclosure so your furry friends are free to explore! They are gorgeous, spacious glamping tents that give a little extra comfort for those who don't want the hassle of shoe-horning their gear into the car and putting a tent up - you can rock up, crack open a beer and get straight on with your glamping holiday! You get to sleep in a proper bed whilst still allowing you to get close to nature with campfires, star gazing and cooking in the sunshine...

Facilities
We have 2 compost toilets over-looking one of the sheep fields – so if you want a poo with a view you know where to go! We don’t have any facilities to dispose of chemical toilets so please leave your camping loos at home. We also have a shower and private wash room to rinse off the sea-salt after a day body boarding. There is a wash-up sink, fridge and freezer for ice blocks for all campers and glampers to use.

We sell fresh eggs on the site from our resident ducks and also have fire wood available to buy.

There is a small shop and Post Office within walking distance in Blaencelyn where you can stock up on campfire essentials (they do a good line in ginger biscuits and marshmallows!). For a bigger shop or fresh food you can drive approx 10 minutes to Brynhoffnant or 25 minutes to Cardigan where there are 2 supermarkets.
