Clyn Glas Cottages - Dog Friendly Cottages in Llandysul, Ceredigion
Clyn Glas is an old Welsh farmhouse which has been developed over the last two centuries. In the past it connected to the local woollen industry and it is believed that weaving was carried out on the premises.
The property is situated in a spectacular position overlooking the valley where the Hiraeth stream runs on its journey to join the River Teifi. (A well renowned Salmon and Sea trout or Sewin river).
The holiday cottages at Clyn Glas have been adapted and extended from an old agricultural building which probably originally served as a cowshed. The holiday cottages have recently been refurbished to a very high standard. Both Upper Cottage and Lower Cottage have their own gardens and garden furniture is supplied. There are glorious views over the valley and the birds which visit are many and varied. Large birds of prey (buzzards and red kites) can be seen circling overhead.
The area surrounding the holiday cottages is stunning and walks can be taken from the door. The Blue Flag sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay are only 20 minutes away and within the area are many things to see and do for people of all ages.
Upper Cottage (sleeps 2)
The upper cottage has a beautiful A-frame bedroom with double bed and full furniture suites.
This holiday cottage is therefore suitable for a couple to stay on their own, though a folding bed and a cot are always available if needed.

Lower Cottage (sleeps 4 + double sofa bed)
Relax in your cottage garden and enjoy the beautiful views across the valley with the red kites and buzzards.
The lower cottage has a large fitted kitchen/breakfast room and a lounge/dining room as the major rooms on the ground floor. The lounge has a sofa bed and so two further people could sleep here if required. There is also a ground floor cloakroom with w.c. and hand basin.
Smaller bedroomUpstairs there are two large bedrooms, one fitted with twin beds and the other with a double bed. Both these rooms have more than adequate clothes storage space, as well as having a hand basin each.
On this floor also is a pretty bathroom with bath, shower, hand basin and w.c. Both bedrooms and bathrooms have shaver points.
On the landing of the second cottage is a large airing cupboard which incorporates a heated drying cupboard.
