There is a history of beloved dogs at Waddesdon Manor; Ferdinand de Rothschild, the creator of the Manor, performed tricks in the East Gallery with his four-legged companion Poupon the poodle. Today, dogs are still welcome at Waddesdon to share an enjoyable day out with their families.
With five routes to choose from, you can enjoy a scenic walk through the fields and woods while admiring the surrounding views of Aylesbury Vale. Collect a dog-friendly visitor map when you arrive at the Welcome Pavilion or purchase an illustrated dog map, highlighting the best places to enjoy with your dog and which becomes a keepsake of your visit.
Treat your dog to Poupon's Doggy Bag, ensuring that they don't miss out on any of the fun. Including a toy, bag of treats, and a sorbet, you can relax together at one of our dog friendly pit stops or share a picnic while you explore the estate.
We understand that dogs are a part of your family so dogs are allowed anywhere in the grounds with the exception of the Aviary Woodland Playground.
