WagTails Daycare - Dog Day Care in Stapleton, Bristol

Wagtails is a day care that provides individualised care. Our goal is to send dogs home with wagging tails.

Our dogs at WagTails have the best opportunities to socialise and play. Along with 45 minutes of walking for every dog at the day care. Exercise is important to us. With ball pits, agility, tunnels and a variety of toys. Your dog will be mentally and physically stimulated at WagTails.

Our Doggy Day Care is a safe space to leave your dogs whilst your at work, a meeting or even just to get them out and about. We believe exercise and mental stimulation is the key to happy healthy dogs. Dogs over 6 months will be walked for 45 minutes in a group or solo walk. All dogs will have a toilet break every 1.5hrs and puppies every 30-45 minutes.

Socialisation
This is a key behaviour that dogs need. We  work with puppies, young adult dogs, and fully grown dogs to help improve their socialisation skills. This is very important to Wag Tails, and helps the dogs in their day to day life. Socialised dogs are happy dogs.

Basic Training
At Wagtails one of our goals is to help our dogs with behavioural issues. We strongly believe in rewarding the good and working on the bad! Depending on how your dog is motivated to learn we use a variety of rewarding methods, clickers, treats and toys. Re-call is a big part of our training program at Wagtails.

Enrichment
At Wagtails we have a variety of enriching equipment. Including agility courses, ball pit, mental stimulation puzzles. Along with physical and social stimulation activities.

Wagtails History
WagTails was founded by Shirley Harrison in 1988. She ran the business from Patchway in Bristol. WagTails has seen many dogs throughout the decades, and will continue to do so.  Shirley worked hard over the years, even when things got tough. All the time she managed the day care she did it with passion and nothing but love towards the dogs. As a new owner this is going to be the motto "We work with passion and love even when the days are rainy and dark". Wagtails was handed over on the 1st October 2022. Run by Ophelia Maxcime a hard working and committed women.
