“I have been using Animal Ark for many years and love the fact that my boisterous cairn terrier will be so well looked after whilst we’re away. The hosts are wonderful and Jane always makes sure that Ziggy is well matched with those looking after him. There’s the added reassurance that should a crisis occur and the host can’t look after him, Jane is always there to step in and continue his care. But best of all I love the fact that I can holiday abroad without any guilt, as I know Ziggy will be enjoying his holiday too. ”

“She is consummately professional and deeply caring of the dogs she boards and she was hugely helpful and considerate to us as owners. Then carers with whom we boarded our 9month old Golden Retriever had only positive and kind things to say about her. They were warm and welcoming with us and our puppy. Jane takes great care in placing the right dog with the right carer and if there is any problem she steps in and takes care of the dog. That is fantastic service and gives great peace of mind. “A brilliant service offered by Jane at Animal Ark for both daycare and boarding: they find, research and coordinate a group of ‘host’ households fitted and matched to your requirements and more importantly the requirements of your dog. Mine, Nala, has stayed with Jane and other host 20-30 times over the last couple of years and is well matched especially into families with well-behaved dogs and active and lively children (she’s a Golden Retriever, so loves it busy!!). Alfie loves going on his holidays and I know that he is loved and cared for . Alfie has, on occasion, needed to go to the vet whilst away and Animal Ark took him . They go above and beyond in their duty of care. My reservation in singing their praises is that they get so popular I can’t get a space for Alfie! ”

“Contacted them by phone and email, no reply, then discovered my friend used them so she got in touch with them. 'Jane' contacted me, was obnoxious from the start! She spoke over me, every time I tried to explain cut me dead, ended up terminating the call. The carers hers are apparently very very good but even they complain about Jane who runs it. ”
