A warm, caring welcome awaits you at Ty Mawr, whether en-route to Ireland through the port of Holyhead or spending a few days exploring the delightful Isle of Anglesey.

Ty Mawr offers traditional farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. Guests from all over the world have returned many times to stay on our 300 acre dairy farm in Valley, near Holyhead over the last 34 years.

The house is set in a lovely garden surrounded by open pasture land with uninterrupted views towards the Snowdonia mountain range.

We have safe off road parking in our private courtyard next to the farmhouse.

We have free WIFI.

There is facility for clothes or boots to be dried if needed. Also a safe place for bicycles to be housed overnight.

After a peaceful nights rest, you may choose to have either a continental or a cooked breakfast, before setting off on your journey.

Sitting Room
Downstairs is a comfortable sitting room with three piece suite, television and the views from the window are directly across the fields to the Snowdon mountain range.

Also downstairs is a cloakroom with toilet and wash hand basin.

Bedroom
The twin bedroom is a cosy room with comfortable beds, tea/coffee making facilities and towelling robes are provided. The view from the window is overlooking the garden and the farm fields.

There is a spacious, cheerful bathroom with toilet, wash hand basin and bath, also a separate shower room.

The Area
The villages of Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn, with their sandy beaches for safe bathing are within 5 minutes by car. The Sustrans National Cycle Route 8, passes the rear entrance to our farm and the Anglesey Coastal footpath is within 1 mile, if you wish to explore the island’s 125 mile coastline.

Our farmhouse is located half a mile from Valley village, where you will find excellent food served all day in the Relish Café, The Valley & Bull Hotels, Catch 22 Brasserie, a Chinese and Indian Takeaway and two fish and chip shops. There are many shops in the village including a Pharmacy, Post Office/ general store, Spar convenience store with free cash point, Butchers selling locally sourced produce, two Petrol stations, Hairdressers, Beauty Salon, large Hardware and garden store, Florist and Craft/art gallery
