Craken House Caravan Park - Dog Friendly Caravan Park in Leyburn, Yorkshire
Craken House Farm is a listed Camping and Caravanning Club Site only one mile from the market town of Leyburn, North Yorkshire. Set in beautiful surroundings with panoramic views and no road noise. This traditional Dales Farm is set in a good central location within easy driving distance of Richmond, Hawes, Ripon, Harrogate and York.The site is on a footpath network, enabling you to walk easily to Leyburn, Middleham and Wensley as well as further afield.
Facilities
Reception - We try to be available at all reasonable times, but we appreciate it very much if visitors can try to come between 9.00am - 6.00pm. Reception is closed on Sundays from 12.30pm, with the exception of arrivals. We do not guarantee to be at reception all the time due to other responsibilities on the farm.
Pets - Pets are welcome but not allowed in site buildings e.g. toilet block, utility room, they must be on a lead and can be walked in designated areas (ask at Reception). No fouling on the site - accidents to be cleaned up immediately, dog waste bins available.
Utility Room - The utility room is adjacent to the washrooms and showers, with hot water for washing-up.
A small communal fridge/freezer is also available and for an additional charge a washer/dryer.
Facilities on Site - Separate male and female toilets, washrooms and showers.
In the Area
Leyburn has a good selection of Pubs and restaurants. Take away outlets for Fish & Chips, Chinese and Indian. There is a laundrette, TIP, Library, Doctors and Dentist. Various shops and Banks, and within half a mile of the site a Petrol station.
