The Hayloft

The Hayloft which was formerly the farm feed store, has been renovated with couples in mind, a perfect bolt hole to celebrate an anniversary or birthday, it has a romantic loft style bedroom, with Hypnos super king size bed, with views from the bed over the open countryside. It has an ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, so you can have a long relaxing soak after a busy day. The ground floor is open plan, with a modern fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living space, adjoining is a boot room and separate toilet with access out to your private parking area and the enclosed garden.

The Hayloft is dog friendly accepting up to 4 well behaved dogs. There is a lovely spacious open area under the stairs perfect for a large dog bed and a warm water wash off point is great after a muddy wet walk. Dogs are not allowed to be left in the Properties unattended, but a Kennel and Large Run is available during your stay, if you find it is a very hot day and you may have to leave your dogs in the car while shopping or you want to visit a local attraction that doesn't allow dogs, just enquire with us and we will see if we can help you. The properties share the use of a washing machine and extra freezer space should you need it, these can be found in in the Laundry Room.

The Parlour

Newly renovated from the old milking shed, The Parlour structure has changed through the farming generations, to its present use today, allowing visitors to also enjoy the quiet country surroundings, it has stood in since the 19th Century. Now it is warm and cosy with under floor heating throughout the ground floor and radiators to the first floor. The Parlour has been decorated in a Country style with the odd quirky touch to remind us of its original use as a milking parlour. The Parlour sleeps 4 people in two ensuite bedrooms of which one is downstairs. Both rooms have Hypnos zip and link beds, so it can be configured to your needs (the upstairs bedroom velux windows are fire escapes, so not recommended for small children).

The Parlour living space is open plan, with a good selection of games, books and DVDs in the cottage to keep you amused on those lazy or wet days. Large windows let the light flood in and give great views of the surrounding countryside. There is a large enclosed garden, great for the children and the dogs to run around in or somewhere just to relax with a cup of tea in the morning or a glass of fizz in the evening.

The Parlour accepts up to 4 well behaved dogs and the under stairs area has been left purposely open, as the ideal spot for a large dog bed, after a muddy and wet walk, there is a warm water wash off area for your faithful friend. Dogs are not allowed to be left in the properties unattended, but just ask us about the use of the lockable dog kennel and large run, if you find its too hot to take your dog out for the day, or if your wanting to visit a local attraction which doesn't accept dogs, give us a shout and we will see if we can help.

The Parlour has its own Kadai BBQ / fire pit making the evenings in the garden a lovely place for the whole family to enjoy, after a busy day exploring the area.
