“Rose Cottage must be one of the most peaceful places in the world, with wonderful views on all sides and a magnificent sense of remoteness, tucked in at the edge of the Cheviot Hills. However it has the best of everything as Wooler is close by where you can potter about and get everything you need from the best local produce to second hand books. The cottage itself is charming - warm, comfortable and well equipped and we appreciate that we are staying in someone's much loved home. The books and paintings in the cottage give a strong sense of the character of this very special part of the country. We are returning for the third time this autumn and can't wait!
