Tranwell Farm Holidays - Dog Friendly Cottage and lodges in Morpeth - Northumberland

We have one dog friendly self catering farm cottage 'Ireby House' and two Self Catering Eco Lodges located on our farm on the outskirts of Morpeth in the heart of Northumberland.​

Ireby House is a semidetached cottage in Tranwell Village near Morpeth set within a small cul-de-sac of farm cottages looking out over rolling countryside. Oak and Ash Lodge are set within a small area of woodland of trees near our peaceful campsite. When you arrive at our holiday properties you will find them warm, with beds made up and a welcome pack with a selection of Coffee, Tea & delicious biscuits waiting for you to rest and relax.

The Historic market town of Morpeth is located in the heart of  Northumberland and is an ideal base to explore both the coast & countryside. Morpeth is a lovely market town with a beautiful walk through arcade shopping centre and lots of craft/artisan shops and fabulous restaurants and tea rooms.   You can take a stroll along the river Wansbeck or Carlisle Park on to the gatehouse and the ruins of the Castle. Try your hand at river boating, tennis or bowls.  Marvel at the Turner Garden inspired by the father of English Botany William Turner who was born and educated in Morpeth.  Peruse Morpeth’s regular Wednesday market or learn about Northumbrian Bagpipes in the Bagpipe Museum.  Then choose something to remember your visit by at The Chantry Northumbrian Arts and Craft Gallery.
