This is a lovely day out located on the Cleethorpes Promenade.

Feed the ducks, have a boat ride and enjoy a delicious home made cake outside the Discovery Centre.

Children can play in the sunken sandpit and then have a splash in the paddling pool (summer only).

You could take a train ride the full length of the resort, taking in the award winning beach and flower filled promenades. Pop into the Jungle Zoo on the way home for a sneeky peek at the Meercats!

There are lots of benches for you to stop and have a picnic. Or alternatively there is a super Hungry Horse Family Pub across the road which serves super meals at reasonable prices. You will also find a MacDonalds and a KFC if that is what you fancy.

The Discovery Centre has a gallery and a viewing Centre with telescopeslooking out to spurn Point and the LightHouse (look the the half a lighthouse which is stranded in the sea) Also look forHaile Fort and Bull Fort which held the metal nets during the war - stopping the german submarines coming into England via the Humber River. The Discovery Centrehas 3 floors of exciting facts to discover about Cleethorpes, its nature, its historyand the Humber Estuary.
