Set in the mountains, overlooking Cardigan Bay, on the southern fringe of the Snowdonia National Park you will find Geufron Farm – an impressive 17th century Farmhouse, Little Cottage, 3 beautiful barns &  ‘Y Caban’ our gorgeous caravan conversion.

With accommodation for 2 to 11 and outdoor adventures on your doorstep Geufron farm is a great choice for families, friends and groups.

The Granary
(Up to 2 housetrained dogs welcome)
The Granary or “Y Granar” in Welsh, is the perfect bolthole for a romantic break. You enter the Granary on the top level where you find a small but perfectly formed open plan kitchen and living/dining area. Downstairs, where the young calves once snuggled to keep warm, is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room and barn door to your outdoor terrace.

The Little Cottage
(Up to 2 housetrained dogs welcome)
The Little Cottage at Geufron Farm is the perfect retreat for two.
With a King bedroom, beautiful living room with log buner and  stunning valley views you’ll be delighted with your stay at The Little Cottage.  In Summer months & School holidays the Little Cottage is available to hire with The Old Farmhouse next door, perfect for extended family holiday or getaway with friends.

Hire them together and they benefit from exclusive access to the outdoor heated pool for human guests to enjoy between 7th May 2021 & September 2021. And if you need even more space, we have 3 other holidays homes on the farm which when combined can sleep up to 22.

The Cowshed

The Cowshed or Beudy in Welsh, once housed 16 of Geufron Farm’s cattle. Now completely refurbished, the Cowshed sleeps 5 in 2 ensuite bedrooms. With a large open plan kitchen/diner & living room, and two bedrooms all on one level The Cowshed is the perfect family getaway.

New in 2022: The Cowshed now benefits from a fully fenced garden area, perfect for enjoying with your four legged friend.

The Barn

With its double height original beamed ceiling and impressive staircase leading to the two bedrooms nestled in the eaves The Barn or “Ysgubor” in Welsh, features some of the most stunning original beams of all of Geufron’s properties.

Sleeping 4 in 2 upstairs bedrooms The Barn is the perfect property for families or friends. Its large downstairs open plan kitchen and living/dining room and outdoor deck The Barn is the perfect space to celebrate a special occasion or to simply kick back and relax with your loved ones.

The Old Farmhouse
(Up to 4 housetrained dogs welcome)
Sleeping 9 in 4 bedrooms The Old Farmhouse, or “Yr Hen dy Fferm” in Welsh, is a great choice for large families or groups*. Its seperate kitchen and dining room makes this the perfect property to celebrate a special occasion or to simply kick back and relax with your loved ones in front of the log burner. Set up on at the top of the farm The Old Farmhouse has stunning views, ample parking for 4 cars.

Exclusive use of Geufron’s private outdoor swimming pool between May & September when booked with The Little Cottage next door.

With hillside walks right from the doorstep, dog friendly beaches & the local pub just 10 min walk away you can be sure that your best friend will have the holiday of a lifetime. Geufron Farm’s top dogs, Bracken & Dottie, have given them the paw of approval too!

Bryncrug & the local area
Just a 10 minute stroll away over the fields you’ll find the centre of the village of Bryncrug.  Our friendly local pub The Peniarth Arms serves up excellent food, shows major sporting games and hosts a wide range of evening entertainments. The left side of the bar is also dog friendly.  From here you can stroll along the broad water to Ynysymaengwyn woodlands.

The Victorian seaside town of Tywyn is a short 2 mile drive away. Here you’ll find family & dog friendly beaches, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, tennis, putting and bowling green and the beautifully preserved 1930’s cinema ‘The Magic Lantern’.  

Just a little further along the coast you’ll find the wonderful seaside towns of Aberdyfi and Barmouth.
