The Kingslodge Inn

“The Kingslodge is in an ideal location for visiting Durham, tucked away but only 2 mins walk from the city centre. Also just out of the back door is an ideal walking spot for the dogs in the lovely Flass Vale woods. Our cockapoo Stamp was made to feel most welcome by the staff, with a dog biscuit and fuss. Water bowls outside and seating areas in so we, the owners, could have lunch in comfort. And what a lunch it was, hubby had soup to start and I had a most delicious black pudding, bacon and egg with a peppercorn sauce, mmmmmmmmm! Followed by traditional sunday lunch, after that it was time for a walk to burn some of those calories, but not after soaking up the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this venue. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble, apparently they are part of the Inn Collection and all of their hotels/inns are dog friendly so after visiting their website www.inncollectiongroup.com we will be frequenting some of their other venues in the near future but not before returning here roll on next sunday”
