Begin from the car park at Hartsop and head East up the hill along the large track to Hayeswater. Cross the bridge and head steeply up hill to a path just below The Knott. Turn left and follow a large path Northwards to Angle Tarn (watch out for sheep and deer).

Angle Tarn is a fantastic spot for lunch. Continue past the tarn following the path past Angletarn Pikes to Boredale Hause being careful of a short section of path which is beside a steep drop.

Head down the left hand track to the valley below and follow the bridleway to the South past Dubhow to return to Hartsop (turn left on reaching the road to return to the car park).
